My guest today is Deron Spoo who is the pastor of First Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the USA. Over the past 16 years, Ps Deron has guided the church as it transitions from being simply a downtown church to a regional church committed to urban ministry. His television devotionals, First Things First, reach 100,000 people each week, and with his new publication called The Good Book: 40 Chapters That Reveal the Bible’s Biggest Ideas, Ps Daron Has changed the Bible-reading landscape. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and with his wife, Paula, they have three children.
