Today is Day of Pentecost - the day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples of Jesus Christ. Pentecost is the Greek name for Shavuot, the spring harvest festival of Israelites. This is what was happening when the Holy Spirit came down. Monday (tomorrow) is also called "Pentecost Monday or Whit Monday (not white)" let us fellowship together and thank God as we commemorate the coming of the Holy Spirit.
